The purpose of a warm up does many things to help get you primed for a great training session. A common part of that process is to take a preworkout supplement to help with increased energy, blood flow and focus to name a few.

I'm a big fan of those but I'm going to let you in on a secret to make them even more impactful: mix them with hot water.

We know that one of the goals is to increase body temperature and by drinking a hot beverage, you jump start this process from the inside out.

Even if you don't take a preworkout, hot coffee or tea can have a similar effect. Especially in the cold winter months, this can be a benefit.

Next time your getting ready to crush it, start it out with something hot.
