Your cooking method matters more than you think!

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a culinary aficionado, but how you prepare your food can quietly add hidden fat and calories—or strip away the very nutrients you’re aiming to get.

Here’s a quick cheat sheet to help you eat well and keep macros in check:

● Steaming & Microwaving – Keeps nutrient loss to a minimum.

● Grilling & Air Frying – Delivers crisp, rich flavor with excess fat dripping away.

● Roasting & Slow Cooking – Great for hands-off, high-volume meal prep.

● Sautéing – Quick and easy using just a light touch of oil.

The two I would stay away from is deep frying and boiling as it either adds fat, reduces food quality or adds extra fat.

Speaking of fats, watch out for sneaky extras: Oils, butter, and heavy sauces can double your calorie intake before you even notice.

You don’t need fancy recipes or hours in the kitchen. Pick the methods that keep your meals nutritious, flavorful, and easy to stick with!
