DETAILS

The other day I was listening to a podcast breaking down a recent study to determine the ceiling of training frequency for building muscle mass. In the conversation, the researchers commented on how difficult it is to determine if and how much muscle mass is actually being gained.

I agree with that statement and this is why I'm so adamant on keeping accurate training logs and using them as a progression tool.

The body adapts to training stimulus (which is why we lift) and when adequate nutrition and recovery are in place, the environment for growth occurs.

If training logs are all over the place, or if progress isn't happening on lifts, we lose the easiest metric that points to muscle growth.

Pay attention to details, keep an accurate training log then use that to evaluate and direct your muscle growth path as you chase those gainzzz.
