CONSISTENCY CAN BE A SUPERPOWER

Consistency is the superpower that increases progress, creates wins, and builds momentum, removing the temptation to give up.

But here’s the thing, focus on everything, and you’re focusing on nothing.

Crinkled paper on beige fabric reads: "WHAT DO YOU THINK UR SUPERPOWER IS?" in bold black letters, prompting self-reflection.

So… what’s the biggest thing holding you back? Nutrition? Training? Lifestyle?

Nutrition

Is it overeating specific foods? → grocery shop intentionally, measure your foods.

Not having the right foods available? → meal prep.

Falling into cravings? → look at the settings and scenarios that trigger them.

Training

Low energy levels? → get to bed on time, hydrate.

Quality of lifts? → turn off your phone, mentally rehearse, make gym time distraction-free.

Progress on lifts? → review your prior session, warm up properly.

Lifestyle

Running out of time? → stick to your schedule.

Forgetting key things like food or training? → create lists so nothing slips.

Reinforce and automate:

Use a habit tracker.

Each week, track your key habits, set a goal, then score yourself. Give yourself a percentage.

Set goals and rewards:

Know the specific results you’re working toward and give yourself a reward when you hit them.

Group habits with the ones you already have locked in place.

Stay accountable whether that’s self-tracking, a coach, your partner, friends, family, or a team community.

And remember the Gap vs the Gain (excellent book btw): look at how far you’ve come. That’s your progress. Strive for excellence, but don’t get frustrated without perfection.

Focus on the biggest thing holding you back, then recognize your improvements in consistency. That’s where the wins stack up.
