One of my favorite times of year is upon us; what is it? Yes, it's fall, but more specifically it is daylight savings time. That one day a year when we all get a extra hour added to our lives.
Why is that a big deal to me? Is it so I can get an extra hour of sleep? NO! Rather I like it because it is the perfect time to start a new morning routine. I am a huge believer in having a morning routine to start the day on your terms.
Realizing that this morning was the official start to the daylight savings, don't worry, you can still take advantage tomorrow. Your body is not used to having that extra hour and tomorrow you will still feel like you are sleeping in. This is when you can set your alarm a half to an hour earlier and start that new routine.
This AM routine could be a combination of many things, meditating/prayer, reading, getting in a morning workout, Etc. You want and need to do it, now is the time, pun intended!
