ONE PERCENT

Continual improvement should be on everyone’s radar and we can all achieve more, even if it’s just one percent.

As one of my clients stated as her goal (way to go Amber!) was to incrementally improve week over week one percent.  This is an excellent mindset, but what would this look like?

Certainly it’s hard, if not impossible, to quantify what one percent improvement actually is.  However, the spirit of this strategy is very simple; to improve just a little bit consistently over time.

Here are some tangible examples:

● Measure your portions even more accurately

● Get five more minutes of activity

● Walk 100 more steps each day

● Take the stairs instead of escalator

● Wake up five minutes earlier

● Go to bed five minutes earlier

● Add one extra serving of vegetables

It’s easy to get overwhelmed striving for perfection.  However, if we break improvements into small steps, not only is it achievable, but the habits that we put in place take us to the big time results.
