COMPASSION

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to volunteer with a group that put together a fully accessible obstacle course for those with disabilities. The finale was the huge water slide at the end.

The idea was to get individuals to be able to achieve something that they probably never thought would be possible. It was a very cool thing and I'm confident made a huge impact on many people's lives.

Having compassion and helping others not only benefits those on the receiving side, but expeditiously for the giver. Certainly this is a gift that is not selfish to receive.
