Eating your veggies is something that we've heard about since being kids. Why then is it hard for some (ok, most?)
First is the WHY. You eat veggies due to the vitamin and minerals that they are rich in. Most are high in fiber (aka roughage), which helps the digestive system and keeps you full (satiated.)
So if we know why, then why not? there are two main reasons, some don't think they taste good, while the other is its not convenient at times. Here's what I do. Take the frozen stuff, get chopped and mix it in with EVERYTHING. Eggs, rice, oatmeal, cook with meat, etc. They absorb the flavor and texture usually.
Suck it up, give some new ideas a try, and get them veggies in!
